Studio JV is participating in the collective exhibition “From Line to City,” which proposes a reflection on drawing as a language and method in the architectural design process in Lisbon and the Tagus Valley. A graphic piece from the Lumare project in Vilamoura is part of the exhibition in the Sala das Massas, at the Beato Innovation District. The exhibition is open until December 3rd at the Sala das Massas – Beato Innovations District, and celebrates the role of architecture in the construction of our cities.
Each presented image reflects a unique way of observing, interpreting, and imagining the territory, showing how the line continues to be the essential starting point for architects’ work. A space for meeting, dialogue, and sharing that strengthens the professional community and brings the public closer to architecture.

Lumare is a timeless project that explores two central elements of the Algarve: light and the sea. Located in Vilamoura, the development comprises four residential volumes with 62 apartments (T1 to T4 penthouse), distributed in different layers that create plays of light and shadow.
In the center, a landscaped park with a swimming pool connects the buildings, promoting integration. The typologies are divided into Garden, Essence, and Sky Residences. The project includes a spa, gym, lounge, massage room, and a garage with 128 parking spaces. The materials combine stone, wood, and aluminum, in a balance between elegance and contemporaneity.
The exhibition is an initiative of the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Regional Section of the Order of Architects and aims to map contemporary architectural design practices of architects and/or architectural collectives based in the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region.
