NEO by Studio JV Integrates Space and Movement in Recife
With a three-dimensional facade and panoramic views, NEO, by Studio JV, makes its mark on the urban skyline of Recife.
NEO, a Tolive development in Boa Viagem, stands out for its three-dimensional facade and 360-degree organization. Designed by Studio JV, it offers units from 25 to 60 m², common areas on the rooftop, and sustainable solutions such as a green roof.
The new NEO development, developed by the developer Tolive in Boa Viagem, Recife, emerges as a landmark in contemporary residential architecture.
Designed by the Portuguese-Brazilian firm Studio JV, led by architect João Vieira, the project stands out for its three-dimensional facade and the 360-degree organization of the apartments, concepts that enhance the urban and landscape context of the region.

The NEO facade is one of the most iconic elements of the project. With a design that explores three-dimensionality, it creates dynamic and unique visual frameworks, combined with outdoor terraces that promote a fluid integration between the interior and exterior. This architectural approach not only expands the feeling of space but also engages with movement and perspective, central concepts that guided the development of the project.
The tower, composed of 18 floors and 105 residential units, offers varied typologies, from studios to 2-bedroom apartments with en-suite bathrooms and powder rooms, with areas ranging from 25.48 m² to 60.80 m². All units can be delivered furnished and decorated, ensuring practicality for residents.
360-Degree Organization: Views and Comfort
The 360-degree layout of the apartments was designed to maximize panoramic views of Boa Viagem, making the most of the urban and natural context of the region. This strategy not only enhances the visual experience of residents but also promotes a feeling of spaciousness and connection with the surroundings. Sustainability and Integration with Nature
Sustainability is a fundamental pillar in the NEO concept. The development features a green roof, carefully planned gardens, and landscaping that integrates the building with the natural environment. Furthermore, the common areas were designed to promote conviviality and well-being, with spaces such as a gym, swimming pool with deck, hot tub, gourmet area, and sky bar, all located on the 15th and 16th floors.
Accessibility and Functionality
NEO also stands out for its attention to accessibility. The main access to the building is via a paved area that connects the entrance hall to the parking garage, which offers 32 spaces on the ground floor and 25 on the technical floor, including spaces for people with reduced mobility and a bicycle rack. Ramps and adapted pathways ensure full accessibility, reinforcing the project’s commitment to inclusion.
Interiors: Comfort and Modernity
The interior design, by the Turíbio and Zezinho Santos office, prioritizes comfort and functionality. The layouts were designed to optimize the use of space and prioritize the entry of natural light, while the combination of contemporary materials and high-quality finishes results in welcoming and elegant environments.
Integration of Form and Function
The NEO project stands out for its ability to integrate form and function, exploring the three-dimensionality of the facade not only as an aesthetic element, but as an architectural solution that enhances the visual and spatial experience of residents. The 360-degree organization of the apartments is a smart strategy to maximize views and take advantage of the urban and natural context of Boa Viagem.
Sustainability as a Central Axis
The incorporation of sustainable elements, such as the green roof and integrated landscaping, demonstrates an alignment with contemporary demands for more conscious and responsible constructions. These solutions not only reduce environmental impact but also promote a balance between aesthetics and functionality.
Common Spaces as an Extension of the Home
The distribution of common areas on the ground floor and rooftop reflects a current trend in residential architecture: the appreciation of collective spaces that function as extensions of the home. The presence of areas such as coworking spaces, a sky bar, and a gym at the highest point of the building reinforces the idea of convenience and practicality, meeting the needs of a modern and dynamic lifestyle.
NEO creates spaces that dialogue with the surroundings, promote sustainability, and elevate the quality of life for residents. A combination of innovative concepts, such as the three-dimensional facade and 360-degree organization, with practical and accessible solutions.
